I never thought a building could be a friend.

Oh the things that you learn when your theatre is closing... most likely permanently

...Let me explain...

So on Wednesday of this week I called my Mom before choir to tell her that I had choir after school. All of a sudden she asks if I'd heard that the theatre was closed until further notice.

NO, NO I DIDN'T, KTHX BYE
It's closed now due to safety concerns, See, when 3 of 4 main support beams are broken shit happens.

Now, normally it would be ok, except our musical, Aida, goes onstage in, mmm, 10 days.

All our sets are built.
All of our lighting cues are planned for the system.
All our choreography is done.
All of our Orchestra members are hired.
All 100 members of the cast are ready.

Well,
Fuck.

-Anyway-
So other than the fact that my lovely theatre closing life's been pretty decent.

On the 12th and 13th I had dance festival. My lovely partner, Tiana, and I won Best solo for our song and dance duet "Alone in the Universe" From Seussical. I'm Horton :3

The 14th - I had an audition for a theatre job this summer at Fort Steele.
The 16th - I had voice festival. Which didn't go over well, but than again, later that night I was at the hospital to get checked for strep thought...
The 17th - My grade 8 Ballet exam (I think I failed, XD) than a band concert....

Aida opens soon (no matter the complications, THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!)
The week after our acting class presents the murder mystery dinner night "A Fatal Combination" I'm detective Margret Manning

Speaking of drama class… My friend Kyla (who is in one of my dance classes and my drama class) In dance class I count the juniors in with British accents because I can, so she bet I couldn’t keep it up for a whole drama class. She now owes me 10 bucks.
Try is, seriously, class goes quite fast.
